Cufflinks have been around since the seventeenth century when men decided simple ribbons were no longer suitable for the task. Early renditions of the humble Cufflink were simply chains attached to gold or silver buttons.

The cuff link eventually became an essential staple in any well dressed mans jewellery collection. Used mostly for special occasions and tuxedo wear. Made in silver or gold and adorned with diamonds and gemstones they became a great symbol of sophistication.

Around the nineteenth century the Cufflink became a regular feature on any smart dressed businessman and even casual shirt. A great way to express your own personality or a unique gift to mark a special occasion.
