A THIRD GENERATION
Originally from Gisborne, New Zealand. A small town on the East Coast of New Zealand's North Island. Phillip started his jewellery career In the Family Business 'Jennings Jewellers' as a third Generation Jeweller. To say Jewellery was in the blood from a young age is an understatement. After Leaving the family business Phillip moved to Whangarei to complete his Apprenticeship at Edward Dickson Ltd.
In 2005 while working for Todd Barrell Master Jeweller Phillip entered his Golden Carosel ring into The Regal Casting National Jewellery Competition where he won 1st prize. This was a 400hr masterpiece inspired by the great jewellery houses of Europe and a real testament to Phillips dedication to the skill required to become a true master jeweller.
In 2007 Phillip moved to London to follow his dream of making the greatest jewellery in the world. Eventually working in one of Londons most prestigious manufacturing workshops where he made Jewellery for some of the highest and most sort after brands, including starring in the Channel 4 TV show 'The Million Pound Necklace'
In 2016 Phillip started his own business and continues to produce work for many of these brands today. Specialising in traditional handmade jewellery techniques that are becoming more and more sort after in todays modern automated world...
